These pages are set up to
show my painting style and to give information on the service that I provide.
Plus to show people how much my friends and I appreciate the DBA gaming
system which includes DBM and DBR. My friends and I started to play DBA in
1990 with two or three army’s, since then we now have a collection of 94 DBA army's
. I personally have a total of 40
army’s painted and another 38 waiting to be painted. I guess you can
tell that we like DBA.
Two of my
friends have gotten into DBR since those rules came out and I have now joined
them. One of them named Tony Stapells
has a Webpage with a list of his DBR army's and
other things that you can check out. We use the 15mm scale for all of our
gaming as that is the scale we first got into when we started playing the
Seven Years War.
I have been painting 15mm castings since
1982 and 25mm’s since 1990. I first started on troops for the Seven
Years War and I painted about 8,000 castings for that time period
. Then I started to paint up ancients for a friend in the late
1980’S. I was not into collecting figures for ancient gaming till DBA
came out. But I found the DBA armies so easy to paint up and the games fun to
play that my friends and I started to collect armies for the wars in early Italy i.e.
Republican Roman and their enemies . The first army
I painted for DBA was the Etruscan army. Since then it has taken off.
I have added a list of all the armies that we have
collected and have gotten painted up. You can see the list by clicking here or on the menu to the
left. In the menu to your left you will find a link to pictures of
either DBA armies that I have painted up for my self or other people as well
as castings that I have done for different people. Also you will find a link
